I received this email last Thursday from an old friend who was in the Class of 63 or maybe even 62, doesn't really matter. Mary Rozier has been battling cancer for the last couple of years(?), and now this:

Hi to all of you my Friends and Family,

Just when you think life is good, you can be handed a whole bucket of lemons. The only way to go is to make a whole lot of lemonade. For those of you who have not heard--I had a heart attack early Monday morning. I was still having it when I got to the ER and they immediately took me to the Cath Lab and inserted 2 stints and cleaned out one with a balloon. I have another artery that needs attention and I will have it done in a couple of weeks when my heart has done some healing from the attack. I am now home and doing really well after spending 4 days in the hospital. The good news is the DR told me that there was minimal damage to the heart. I am really grateful. I will take it easy for a few days before I get back to normal.

The good news is that my cancer is still in remission and it just needs to stay there so that I can deal with my heart now. I am not good at multi-tasking. Pray for my continued fast recovery and for the Drs that are treating me.

Love you Lots,
Mary Goodman

This classmate is a fighter, and she needs the support of all her CHS friends, as well as those friends she's made over the years.

Her email address is: MGood98521@aol.com

I'm sure she would just love to hear from any of you!

Best regards,

Kent
