Ah, yes, I remember those days, too. Drive for a week or two on a dollar's worth. And somewhere in this neck of the woods someone has opened a drive-in movei. Heard the lines were way out of the park before it even opened.

The price on gas has steadily jumped around here for the last week to ten days. I bought some for my pickup a couple of days ago, cost $29 for a 12-gal tank. Gas in this town is ranging from 2.55 to 2.59, go west about 10 miles can still get it for 2.33. Ain't gone see 1.50 gas no mo, I'm afred.
