that is true that there are women in the olympics. But unfortuntely it seems like men's sports (for the most part) get more attention. Women's tennis is popular but the team sports don't seem to garner the same amount of interest or sponsorship.
It seems that sponsorship and TV contracts are what really counts.
I know the WNBA seemed to do ok, but I haven't been following it lately.
