Subject: Base Housing/Living with my dog in Okinawa

I was looking for anyone with on base housing/pet experience in Okinawa. I am prepared to go through anything to bring my pet with us to Okinawa, but what if we are unable to keep him in our base housing once we get there?! We don't know anyone who would be willing to watch our dog for three years! or even be able to keep him for a short time until we find out what kind of housing we will get.
