Hey DAN, your post reminds me of a funny story going back a few years. A co-worker/buddy of mine once lugged his full size camcorder for a few hours. He volunteered to take movies at some wedding (his wife's relative) to save 'em some bucks instead of a pro doing.

He went home, a bit tipsy I gather, put VHS stuff down, and hit sack. That nite/next day, many next days, he neglected to remove the erasure protect tab on left side of tape cartridge/s. Time went on...his wife and newlyweds after honeymoon, were asking him for tapes he had. He thought all was ok.

Two or so weeks went by. They visited newlyweds. Plopped tape into VCR, and...whoa! There, in glorious black and white, was some Hitler film or movie from the History Channel or similar,(he was a war buff) followed by other non-wedding stuff. He apparently used the tape or tapes for History Channel "stuff"....man, the guy was in doghouse for weeks. I didn't tease or pry much, I knew the guy was in deep trouble because of this.
