Frankenstein (1931) and Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
My favorite two U films.

Son of Frankenstein (1939)
Not as good as the first two, but still great with Karloff as the Monster and Lugosi as Ygor.

Dracula (1931)
The Lugosi classic.

The Black Cat (1934)
Karloff and Lugosi team up.

The Wolf Man (1941), House of Frankenstein (1944) and House of Dracula (1945) are great too.

Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954)
Fun 1950s Universal.

Halloween (1978)
The independent film that made John Carpenter famous.

The Fly (1958)
House on Haunted Hill (1959)
House of Usher (1960)
The Abominable Dr Phibes (1971)
A few Vincent Price favorites.

My favorite Universal horror films are about the same as Tim's, with Frankenstein and The Bride as my top two favorites.

As much as like "The Black Cat," "The Raven" is my favorite Karloff & Lugosi flick without them in any heavy makeup, as in SoF. When I see Karloff as the monster and Lugosi as Ygor, it's just not the same as seeing them together in The Black Cat, Raven, Invisible Ray, etc.

Tim's list of Vincent Price's films are some of my favorites too.
