Subject: Famous Monsters Reprints Announced

Famous Monsters has teamed with Hermes Press and has announced plans to reprint the original run of Famous Monsters of Filmland (1958-1983) in a series of hardcover collections.

Famous Monsters of Filmland originally ran for 191 issues from 1958 to 1983. Forrest J Ackerman was the editor for all but the last few issues of that historic run.

The magazine was revived in 1993 by Ray Ferry starting with issue #200, and ran until around 2008.

Famous Monsters returned yet again in 2010 starting with issue #251 after publisher Philip Kim purchased rights to the name and logo. This most recent incarnation of the magazine continues today, with FM #262 as the latest available issue.
