Eighty years ago the mighty Kong memorably rampaged though New York City in King Kong (1933).

No one can go on a rampage like the monster in the Universal Frankenstein films. Karloff breaking out of his dungeon confinement in Bride of Frankenstein (1935) is a classic monster on the rampage scene with a touch of humor.

Burgomaster: "Go to your homes. Just an escaped lunatic. Merely wanted someone to handle it, that's all. Quite harmless."

Here the angry villagers go on a rampage of their own in search of the monster in Frankenstein (1931).

Tim covered King Kong's NYC rampage and The monster's rampage in "Bride of Frankenstein."

I'll add the the first rampage of Kong when he broke through the gates and went hut busting, then chewing and stomping on some of the natives.

Mighty Joe Young breaking out of his cage and wrecking the night club after those rowdy guys get him drunk and burn him with a cigar.

"The Son of Frankenstein." The monster freaking out and tearing up the lab and throwing the equipment in the sulphur pit after he discovered Ygor lying dead

'The Mummy's Ghost." At the museum when Kharis finds out the Princess Ananka has been reincarnated, he throws a fit and smashes everything in the room. Then when the guard went to investigate, Kharis shoved the guard through a glass door and then strangled him.

"The Invisible Man." Jack Griffin's rampage in the village destroying property scaring people and then derailing a train.

The Black Lagoon Creature's rampage near the end of "The Creature Walks Among Us"
