Subject: Dana Wynter (1931-2011)

Dana Wynter, the actress who co-starred with Kevin McCarthy in the 1956 science fiction classic Invasion of the Body Snatchers, has died at age 79.

She also had a role in the Universal picture Airport (1970), which launched the disaster film as a genre.

The loss of yet another talent and beautiful lady. From a cinema standpoint, she will likely be certainly remembered for her part in 1956s Invasion of the Body Snatchers. I remember her well also in Sink the Bismarck, others too, and she played many parts on TV. A most attractive woman with a natural, pretty face, talented of course, perhaps underrated overall. She will be missed.
