Actually One Step Beyond began on ABC in Jan 1959 as "Alcoa Presents:" With One Step Beyond as a sub title.
The show ran for three seasons on ABC. And when it went into syndication it was called One Step Beyond.

One Step Beyond ran in syndication from early 1962 until the late 70s. Then the Sci-fi channel ran the show for a couple of years in the 90s I believe.

One Step Beyond is available on DVD. And you can see some episodes online.

You are correct, Dan, it did originally run on ABC. I thought it started in syndication, but looked it up and found that I was mistaken.

I have seen a number of episodes, including the famous "Night of April 14" featuring a young pre-Avengers Patrick Macnee in the cast.
