Here are a half dozen Stooge classics perfect for the Halloween Holiday.

Dizzy Detectives (1943)
Larry, Moe and Curly are policemen on the trail of the Ape Man burglary ring, which turns out to be a gang of crooks with a gorilla in their midst. Curly survives the guillotine but it's the Ape who really loses his head!
Moe: "Don't be scared! Don't be scared! Just run!"

Idle Roomers (1944)
The Stooges are hotel bellboys who encounter Lupe, a genuine Wolf Man! Watch for the mirror image routine with Curly and Lupe.

A Bird in the Head (1946)
The Stooges are doing a wall papering job in the same building where Professor Panzer (Vernon Dent) is conducting bizarre experiments. The Professor plans to transplant a human brain into Igor, his gorilla, but hasn't been able to find a brain small enough to fit. Until Curly comes along, that is.
"A bird in the head is worth two in the bush."

Who Done It? (1949)
Larry, Moe and Shemp are private eyes with the Alert Detective Agency, and are hired by Mr Goodrich (Emil Sitka) to protect him from "The Phantom Gang". The villains include a femme fatale and a scary looking goon. Shemp saves the day with his trusty shovel!

Spooks! (1953)
The Stooges are private eyes with the Super Sleuth Detective Agency hired to find the missing Bea Bopper (Norma Randall). Disguised as pie salesman, the fellows wind up at a scary old mansion where Bea is held captive by a mad scientist. And there is a gorilla at large. And did you see the face on that bat? Filmed in 3-D.

Creeps (1956)
Larry, Moe and Shemp are hired to move furniture out of a spooky ancient castle. Highlights include a stubborn suit of armor and a torture room complete with guillotine.
