I really liked almost all the Shorts with Curly the best. Then most of the shorts with Shemp. And I never cared for Joe Besser, though he did have a few good shorts.

The only one with Curly I didn't like that much is the first Columbia short "Woman Haters"... because of the rhyming dialogue, it got tiresome real fast.

Some Curly Favorites:

Punch Drunks
Grips Grunts and Groans
Hoi Poloi
Three Little Beers
Ants in the Pantry
Pop Goes the Easel
False Alarms
Idle Roomers
We Want Our Mummy
Spook Louder
Dizzy Detectives
Horse's Collars
Three Sappy people
A Plumbing We Will Go

Shemp Favorites:

Fright Night
Ghost Talks
Vagabond Loafers
Pest Man Wins
Spooks
Shivering Sherlocks

Joe Besser:

Outer Space Jitters
Pie and Guys
Flying Saucer Daffy

My all time favorite is Disorder in the Court (1936). Gail Tempest, a dancer at the Blackbottom Cafe, is on trial for the murder of Kirk Robin. Larry, Moe and Curly are musicians at the cafe, and are set to testify in her defense. One of four Stooges shorts that fell into public domain.

I agree with Dan about Curly, he was always my favorite too.

Other favorites include:

Hoi Polloi
Pop Goes the Easel
Three Sappy People
Half-Wits Holiday
Malice in the Palace
Spooks
Outer Space Jitters

Tim
