Unfortunately I was not able to catch the marathon, and I am a little rusty on the Sherlock Holmes/Basil Rathbone series, as it has been a good long while since I've seen most of them.

I do have Dressed to Kill (1946), the last of the series, on DVD. Although it's considered one of the lesser efforts of the lot, it is still a fairly enjoyable thriller.

Although I have the entire Holmes series on DVD, it's still nice to see the films show up on TV.

I also have colorized versions of "The Secret Weapon" and "Terror By Night."

I taped them off Cinemax 22 years ago because it was the only versions of these two films that were being shown at the time.

The color wasn't too good, but the interesting thing about the colorized "Terror By Night" was that they edited in some scenes of the final action when Holmes was explaining to Watson how Holmes and Lestrade carried out their plan to recover the jewel and capture the crooks.

Anyway, I wasn't home most of the day to watch all of the marathon, but I did get home in time to catch the end of "Terror By Night" and I watched all of "Dressed To Kill."
