Without a doubt, to me, the monster's discovery of shall we say, creature comforts, upon being entertained in the blind man's abode. Smoke...gooood! Bread....gooood! Music...goood, Drink....good, Friend....good! etc. Then stangers come to the door, spill the beans, and sadly, the blind man's home is set ablaze. Fortunately, he escapes. There is a much later spoof of this with Peter Boyle as the monster, and I think Gene Hackman. The film is Mel Brooks'1974s Young Frankenstein, played by Gene Wilder. The part where the man lights up the monster's finger instead of a cigar is hilarious... as the monster waits, but ultimately howls out..Yeeow!

I agree with Officer Torch and Tim, the moment between the monster and the hermit in BoF is my favorite too. And Young Frankenstein is my favorite Mel Brooks film.

My second choice is also the same scene Tim mentioned in the climax of BoF. when the monster is pained by the bride's rejection of him.

Another moment from BoF would be when the monster escaped from the prison. and later on meeting Dr Praetorious in the crypt.

Frankenstein:
The monster's first appearance with him backing up and then turning as we get to see his face.

The final moments in the wind mill.

Son of Frankenstein:
The monster discovering Ygor's body.

Ghost of Frankenstein:
After the lightning strikes his neck bolts, he shows his power.
His blank stare out into the distance when Ygor is asking the girl with the geese directions and he wanders off.

Escaping from the chains in the courtroom.
