No, no, no joystar.....you know, one of the things about forums, emails and the like can be misunderstandings. NO apologies necessary at all. No, you did not step on toes. Point is sometimes in eg FG forums, we get our adrenalin all pumped up, point/counter-point debates occur (still friendly though) and yeah, sometimes we step on each others toes, but in a nice way, which is fine....never hostile, and we never cuss anyone out. So, listen, if you've an opinion, tell us, and if something bothers you, tell us. We're all entitled to our opinion and respect each others thoughts. Guess that's why I mentioned about not taking things personal. Friends? Very best regards and hoping for some lively chat in future. Genuinely glad to have you aboard. Officer Torch. PS I'm the one around here who enjoys clowning around. We gotta work some humor into this thing somehow. The times are tough enough, so we'll try to make this fun as well as the educational place it is...OK?

Hey! anybody out there interested in something different?...like some quirky kind of quiz combining BOTH the Flash Gordon AND Monster stuff? Joystar, you with us? Humor would be a definite plus in such a quiz. I could try to start up something next week if at least a few members are interested. So, who is interested?? Any prelim suggestions. Joystar?

Thank you, Torch. Things DO start pumping around Halloween.
Everything gets lively. TCM is running just about every Karloff film available this month...EXCEPT of course, the ones that matter! I don't know who said it...maybe Rick, about Universal letting it's pre- 1934 films disappear into oblivion. What a shame. What I wouldn't give to see ONE MORE RIVER again...Heavens..I'd almost consider a bootleg! I did see KISS BEFORE THE MIRROR, and thought it very enjoyable, Also found two of his post Laemmle Universals. WIVES UNDER SUSPICION and SINNERS IN PARADISE.
Has anyone here seen them?

Hi Joy,

I must have missed something here because I haven't seen where you, or anyone else for that matter has stepped on any toes? Just keep on posting Joy.

Of the movies you mentioned, the only one I remember seeing was "Sinners In Paradise" quite some time ago.

I'm constantly checking the TV schedules for any of the early Universal films. If I see one pop up I'll post the info here as soon as I can.
