The Wolf Man (1941) Larry Talbot was the role of a lifetime for the junior Chaney. He would reprise the part in other films.

Son of Dracula (1943) Chaney is excellent as Count Alucard in this underrated entry from Universal's second wave.

The Wolf Man, plus all the sequels.
Son of Dracula: I agree with Tim.
Man Made Monster: Chaney Jr does a good job in his first Universal horror film
