When talking Universal horror films Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi are obvious top choices, as well as the always underrated Lon Chaney Jr.

Other favorites include Dwight Frye, Edward Van Sloan, Lionel Atwill, David Manners, Claude Rains, Colin Clive, Basil Rathbone, John Carradine and George Zucco.

And not to overlook the ladies, Evelyn Ankers, Anne Gwynne, Elsa Lanchester and Gloria Holden immediately come to mind.
