FORMER Bay City Rollers stars are expected to attend the funeral of former manager Tam Paton, it was reported today.

The body of the 70-year-old was handed over to his family yesterday, eight days after his death.

The controversial figure died of a heart attack last Wednesday aged 70 in the bath at his Edinburgh mansion. He will be cremated at Edinburgh's Morton Hall crematorium next Friday it was reported today.

Former Bay City Rollers star Alan Longmuir and Stuart Wood are expected to be among those attending the funeral.

Earlier this week, Paton's ex-partner vowed to be at the funeral. Ray Cotter, 48, insisted he will be happy to stand at the back of the ceremony to pay his last respects.
