I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported me and this board over the 8 years i have been running it. I wondered if you would like to post any of the special memories you have of this message board as it¡¦s been enjoyable over those 8 years for me; experiencing some very funny moments and sad ones too and also not forgetting all the many friends I have made and visited. Remembering all the Al's gals, who have also forged lifelong friendships too? I think we are all finding that with the creation of Myspace, Facebook, Bebo and Twitter that everyone is so busy keeping up with these new social networks that the Voy message boards have suffered and become very quiet. My life is becoming busier too with some new challenges coming up, although I will always keep in contact with my friends; thats a promise you don't get rid of me that easy lol! With great sadness I will be closing this message board at the end of August, so please join me in remembering those special moments. Thanks for your support everyone and please know you are all very special to me, I couldn't wish for better friends. Subject Author Date The end of an era...yes, but this board was only a catalyst to meeting a lovely lady who's heart is full of love. Lin I meet you through this board many years ago when I wanted to hold a birthday party for Alan here in Melbourne, you immediately held out a hand of friendship that has been extended some five years later. The Rollers may have bought us together mate,but they aren't what keeps us together. We will always have our friendship. Good for you for moving forward. Always there for you hon!
