To a certain extent, yes. Spiritualism is not the same as other belief systems in that it tries to prove the existence of the spirit or soul after death. It has no creeds, or dogma, and is not tied to a "holy" book. As for clergy, everyone is trying to explain what happens, even Spiritualists!

God is the Great Spirit - the source of all life, whether human, animal or whatever. Good or bad spirits? I believe there are both, but some Spiritualists` do not believe in bad Spirits. The terms we use are hard to define when talking about Spirits - their knowledge far exceeds our own.

Yes. But I would delete the "if any". Spirit is never wrong, but the medium can get the message wrong.

There are fakes, just as there are fakes in all threads of society. True mediums do not fake anything and pass on whatever they are given by Spirit.
Hope this answers your questions, and welcome to the board!
