dattaswami, I have seen no proof that "the essence of all the religions is one and the same".
..... Many different people all over this globe have, and/or have had religious experiences including spirits and/or gods. They KNOW that we are not alone, but, as I understand it, good people are helped by good spirits that will help them to get even better, while bad people are helped by bad spirit to help them get even worse.
