speed, the greatest factor...

was not a problem, winged colt angles slightly open wings for better streamlined shape, gusts of wind helping to push him forward, distance shortened with each helpful nudge, now close enough to reach out...

large branch twists under foot, sending pegasus tripping forward, unfortunetly, years of conditioning kick in as swift lift of wings save colt from smashing head first into the ground, however slip stream of air lifts frame higher than expected, crashing into Darlig Pike from the side... oh dear...
