Well then! Conveniently enough, by not making an appearance Natalie is confirming the stereotype that Miss Universe is degrading to women. Which IT IS NOT!

Miss Universe does not compramise herself nor does she promote sexually charged stereotypes of women. Her title makes her an ambassador fit to parlay with dignitaries, diplomats and heads of state. She is bringing enlightenment to empoverished countries on HIV/AIDS.

So let's revisit the Bylaw again:

"Activities which degrade men or women through sexual stereotyping, (MARIE'S NOTE: POINT MOOT) or exploit the bodies of men, women, boys or girls solely for the purpose of attracting attention, (POINT MOOT) are not permitted on Nathan Phillips Square." SHE'S IN THE CLEAR!

Yes there is a swimsuit competition which is no more degrading then a fitness competition where contestants are SOLELY judged on their bodies.
