Harm and Sarah mingled with the crowd remaining and received congratulations and nice sentiments. It was great to be with the people that watched after Grams on a regular basis.
After all the invited guests left, Harm and Sarah sat with Grams, Trish and Frank. Harm pulled out the room key card and explained that JJ and AJ had paid for it thru Sunday, the 1st. He explained that AJ had also given them extended leave time until the 3rd, so they planned to stay around Belleville until the morning of the 2nd. Frank and Trish said their flight back to California was on Saturday morning, the 31st , but insisted Harm and Sarah were not expected back to Gram’s place before 11:00 on Thursday.
Frank took Harm aside and told him he had talked Grams into giving up her 87 Cutlass for a new car he had had delivered to the Chrysler dealership in Harrisburg. He told him he wanted him and Sarah to drive their car also to make sure Grams’ car got there OK on Thursday morning. Harm agreed to be at her place at 11:00 so they could travel together.
They stayed until about everything was cleaned up before being “shooed” out the door. They drove the 23 miles and were directed to where Chalet # 3 was when they arrived at the ski resort. Harm carried Sarah across the threshold into a warm, cozy room with the most fantastic Mountain View possible. He retuned to the car for their bags and other things as Sarah looked the place over.
(S) Look, we can make love on the bed or in the hot tub completely naked and no one can see us. Look at the view. This place is fantastic.
(H) Not as fantastic as you are Mrs. Rabb.
(S) Say it again, please.
(H) Not as fantastic as you are Mrs. Rabb.
(S) Mrs Rabb. I’m loving this so much. Come here Mr. Rabb. I have a whole lot of lovin for you. But first I want some answers. How and when did you get the application for our marriage license? Did Grams plan all this or did you. Were you surprised about the rings?
(H) JJ helped me get the application when we took the deer to town. He vouched for us being in PA with them on Friday.
I told mom and Grams what I wanted to do when we called them on Christmas Day, after we had our talk and we made love for our first time. I confirmed it Monday morning after we were in Frederick early enough to make it by 17:00.
I never dreamed that mom would give us dad and her rings. I know that was a big sacrifice for her but I love her for it.
I didn’t know the minister was going to embarrass you by putting you on the spot like that. I almost cried when he talked about our vows to each other. If they only knew how difficult and gut wrenching our talk really was.
You could not have looked lovelier than you did in the pale green dress. You are my beautiful bride and I am so proud of you.

(S) Yes. Harm, do I make you …..……… happy? I mean really, really ………….…happy?
(H) Yes, Mrs. Rabb, you are what makes my life worth living. You are Sarah, my “Princess.” You are now my wife and lover forever.
I have a question for you. We have been together 24 hours a day for 4 days straight and you haven’t busted my chops one time, other than during our talk. In fact, you have gone along with everything I suggested or wanted to do. Why is that?
(S) We are now the ultimate team. After you let me know that you finally wanted to have “the talk” and straighten out our relationship, I assumed the “your wife” mode. I knew our total commitment to each other would create the “US” which would consume the “I’s” that we had been. I believe we no longer exist as ourselves but as part of each other in our “US.” I know that might not be the current conventional wisdom about being and remaining your own person and not losing your own identity, but I know you and I are the exception to the rule. We now only have one identity. We have been such an intricate part of each other for so long; sometimes I think we even breathe for each other. When I hurt and bleed, you feel the pain and visa versa. You are now my husband and I am your wife now and for forever.
(H) Thank you. You blow me away at times when you voice your understanding of how deeply I feel about you and us. We have been finishing each other’s thoughts for years. You make me realize I am the luckiest man on earth.
Do you have any special requests from your devoted husband?
(S) Oh yes Commander, I want everything including the special activity you saved just for me. Will you let me be on top part of the time?
(H) All the time tonight if you want too.
(S) No. I expect you will want to do the heavy…………………….. lifting, I just want to fulfill some of my fantasies of you, if it is OK.
And the evening quickly began and allowed two people now forever bound to each other to be open to any and all possibilities.
Tuesday and Wednesday were spent in attention, mutual satisfaction, and appreciation for each other. Even though they intended to continuously touch each other, they did take a skiing lesson both days. It was hilarious because both succeeded in skiing some, but spent more time on their butts than up on skis. They laughed at each other and themselves as they spent a lot of time falling and rolling in the snow. They also found that being seductively undressed, hot tubs, and making love, after being in the freezing cold, was extra, extra special.
Wednesday morning had found Sarah excited to share their new marital status with Harriet so she made a phone call.
(Har) Roberts residence.
(S) Harriet, this is Mac. Did Bud say the Admiral was at the office this morning?
(Har) Bud told me Monday the Admiral decided to take the entire week off to be with friends for the holidays. Where are you? Bud was told to expect you and Commander Rabb back this morning but said you didn’t show up.
(S) We are at the Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Pennsylvania………….….on our honeymoon.
(Har) On your honeymoon? You and Harm? Married? To each other?
(S) Yes. Yes. You can now refer to me as Mrs. Rabb. We were married at Harm’s Grandmother’s home Monday evening. He made it a surprise to me and we are having the time of our lives.
(Har) You did it girl. You actually found a way to get your Prince Charming to propose to you? Is it like you thought it would be?
(S) Yes. There was a bit of pain mixed in but we worked thru everything for the last time. I am sure I feel just like you told me after your wedding to Bud. He is so much more than I ever understood before.
(Har) Congratulations! You did it girl. I always believed he would be the only man who could make you really, really happy.
(S) He does. He really does. Harriet, I have a big question.
(Har) Shoot.
(S) Since you seem to know the best way to get pregnant, tell me what to do. What is your secret?
(Har) I will, but it is almost impossible to do. It’s called the butterfly position. After you both really get into it and he tells you he is ready, grab your ankles and don’t let go for 5 minutes.
(S) Hmmm……….Sounds strange. Don’t sound very satisfying to me.
(Har) We’re talking getting pregnant, not getting satisfied. He wants tight right at that time but you open up and take everything he gives you. The angle is just right for everything to go right where you need it to go. The most difficult thing to do is to keep holding your ankles.
(S) Ha Ha, I guess so. You’re not pulling my leg are you?
(Har) Hey, AJ is our living proof, Mac. It worked for us.
(S) OK, I’ll try it but if he laughs at me, you are going to get it.
(Har) Welcome to the club Mac. This is going to be the best thing that ever happened to you. You two are going to be great parents. I can’t wait to call Bud and tell him the Colonel’s wish finally came true.
(S) It did Harriet. It really did.
Harm took the phone when she handed it to him to hang it up.
(H) What did she say the secret was?
(S) I’ll need to show you some time but if you laugh at me, I don’t know what I am going to do to you.
(H) I’m in trouble now because you know how much I enjoy making love to you. I might laugh just because I am so happy.
(S) We will try it tonight …….. after the lights are out.
(H) I am sure I will be laughing with you instead of at you. Don’t forget, I want kids with you as much as you do.
Since it was only 12:35 they decided to venture back out in the snow and cold again to enjoy themselves. They headed over to the lodge for lunch but Sarah quickly pulled him aside. She pointed and Harm recognized a partly bald Admiral friend of theirs with his arm around a muscular 50’ish red head that was very well built for her age.
Harm guided Sarah around back and entered the lodge and took a seat close to the large window in the restaurant. They watched as AJ continued to fall on his butt many times as the red head tried to talk him thru standing up on the skis. They watched the special touches and gentle caresses the red head was delivering as they worked together. AJ succeeded in moving a short distance unaided and the red head was hanging with him. He fell and tried again many times before removing his skis and leading her back to Chalet # 9 where his Escalade was parked. After they entered the Chalet, Harm and Sarah was more at ease to finish eating and enjoy the cold. They made their way to Harm’s SUV and left to drive and see the countryside all covered in snow. They returned at 15:30 and found AJ’s car had not been moved.
They took the lift up the mountain without skis but just to experience the majesty of their surroundings. After getting off they heard a familiar voice:
(AJ) I wondered if you guys had already left. How has everything worked out for you?
(S) Just fantastic, Admiral. We have everything well under control.
(AJ) Oh, pardon my manners, Rosemary Calabash, these are two of my senior attorneys at JAG, Commander Harmon Rabb and his new bride, Lt. Colonel Sarah MacKenzie, now Mrs. Rabb. They are the couple I told you about that were married in Belleville Monday night.
(Rosemary) It’s so nice to meet you both. AJ told me about the beautiful wedding you had.
(S) Nice to meet you also. Even though I told Harm I would marry him as soon as we could make it happen, it was a complete surprise when the minister asked us to step forward there in Grams’ house. It was perfect.
(AJ) She made a beautiful bride and all of us at JAG think he got the better part of the bargain. If any two people ever needed to be together, you’re looking at them.
(H) We are surprised to see you here, sir. We thought you probably returned to D.C.
(AJ) I decided some quality time off during the holidays might help improve my attitude. I made Turner acting JAG in my absence and Rosemary has been nice enough to spend time with me and show me all the sights in these parts.
(S) Well, it is certainly a nice afternoon to enjoy the snow and majesty of this mountain. They are supposed to have viewing stands where we can look at the entire valley from here. Have you found them?
(Rosemary) They are about 50 feet to your right. We spent some time watching some deer and elk over close to the trees down in the valley. This is such a peaceful place. We were just leaving to get a hot drink at the lodge if you would care to join us.
(H) Thank you for the offer but we want to spend time here for a while. Maybe we will see you later.
(AJ) If we don’t see you, have a good evening.
(S) Nice to meet you Rosemary and you guys enjoy yourselves.
Harm and Sarah watched as AJ and Rosemary boarded the lift and started lower:
(H) Will you look at that? I believe our CO is going to be a lot easier to live with for a while.
(S) Yes…….…but it surprises me a little. He has been getting all he could handle from Cmdr. Sally Truman, my OB/GYN.
(H) And you know that how?
(S) I set him up with her.
(H) OK. You got me curious now. Tell me how it happened.
(S) About 3 months ago, I worked late one night to finish my report on the Anderson case and took it in to leave it in his office. I didn’t know he was still there so as I opened the door, I saw he was …… ea……a………pleasuring himself beside his desk. I was surprised and he looked horrified when he realized how much I had seen as he was coming into his handkerchief. His look of embarrassment quickly changed and I actually believe he expected me to take care of him right there. If I had not been totally committed to you, I think I could have gotten screwed big-time that evening.
I needed to quickly extract myself from the embarrassing position I was in so I asked him how long it had been and what age woman he was looking for. He stammered around for a minute and I told him I knew a doctor he might like. I told him I would find if she was interested in meeting him if he wanted me to. When he said OK, I turned and fled from the room.
Before you ask, I didn’t tell you about it because it was all my fault. I invaded his office and his privacy which was against the rules. I think his reaction was typical for a man caught doing what he was doing. You would have gotten upset with me if I had told you everything at the time. And by the way, he doesn’t even come close to measuring up to your……………….standards.
I called Sally Truman the next day and told her the Admiral was showing some interest and would be calling her. He finally called her and they hit it off right away. She told me later their sex was like they were running a marathon in bed. But ……………… today he looks totally whipped by another woman. Evidently he is on vacation and wanted a little “strange.”
(H) Your right. He had that freshly fu……… … screwed look about him. They say desire continues for many into their eighties. He really is not that much older than you and I and might even enjoy it as much as we do.
(S) Somehow, I can’t believe anyone can enjoy it as much as we do. Let’s go look at the mountain so we can get back to try Harriet’s secret pregnancy method. Remember, you promised not to laugh at me.
Well, Harm and Sarah couldn’t keep from laughing when she opened up to him to his complete and utter surprise. She tried her best to hold on for the whole 5 minutes but Harm absolutely would not leave her alone and she caved after making it to 4.
(S) I hope your little guys were fast swimmers since you kept pestering me.
(H) I hope so too…….. we only want the very best to lead the charge. Remember, your looks and my brains or the other way around.
(S) Harm, promise me that we will always be happy like this.
(H) I can’t do it. Our happiness together will get so much better than this. We have so many things to look forward to and enjoy. You are going to be such a good mother to our children and wife to me.
(S) Thanks for the vote of confidence. I know we can do it together if you are sticking by and taking care of me.
(H) You and me, babe, all the way. All the way together!
Thursday morning started in the hot tub before breakfast. It had snowed more the night before and was so beautiful. They made their way to the lodge for breakfast and enjoyed the other skier’s company. Even though the Escalade had not been moved, their CO and Rosemary were no where to be seen.
