Does anyone know where I can purchase men’s black trousers which are suitable for dancing in, ie stretch enough so as not to restrict movement. We have searched men’s shops but always end up with baggy looking trousers. Maybe I need to go to a tailor?

-A lot of senior men that I've seen are wearing 'stretchy jeans'... They're tighter, and flexible. They really look quite attractive, without the higher tailored cost. They run around $50-75 in major stores. I can't tell you the brand off the top of my head. Besides the stretchy jeans, I've seen a few pairs of stretchy pants - they're made in a very heavy weight stretch fabric, and look good as well.

Where can we find a boy's white collarless shirt? Sometimes called a prairie collar. Is there somewhere you can just buy them without having to have them made?

-I know of a boy in our company whose family takes him to Nordstrom's to buy a regular dress shirt, and then has the store cut the collar off so it is collarless--he looks fine, and I assume you could do this yourself with a regular dress shirt if you are reasonably careful.

-A salesperson in a men's clothing store told me their tailor could take any collar off for me for a fee. I decided to see if I could do it myself and couldn't believe how easy it was and why I hadn't thought of it myself. Just take your seam ripper and remove the collar and then topstitch the collar stand. It only takes about 10 minutes and looks great. If you did find a collarless shirt somewhere you are still very limited in colour. This gives you a lot more choices.

-Nordstrom carries them -- We buy them and replace the top button. I've purchased them for my teen boys at J. C. Penney. Burlington Coat factory carries them and they are inexpensive.
