Early entry by or before Sept 17 will receive $5 off for children and $10 off entry for jr, teen, and miss. There after, entry fee will b $30 for children and $60 for jr, teen, and miss. Door entrys are accepted 30 minutes prior to division with a $10 late fee added to entry fee.

Louisiana Tournoi Childrens Pageant
Pageant will begin at 8:30 am. Door will open at 8:00 am.
Categories age start times: We do not combine or eliminate categories.
Wee Baby Tournoi Queen & Knight.....0-6 months.....8:30am
Baby Tournoi Queen & Knight.....7-12 months.....9am
Tiny Toddler Tournoi Queen & Knight.....13-23 months.....9:30am
Toddler Tournoi Queen & Knight.....2 years.....10am

Entry Fees are $30 per contestant and INCLUDES photogenic. A sibling discount of $5 will be given
for each contestant in the immediate family. Photographs must be submitted with entry form (please write
name of child on back of photograph!). All contestants should sign in/register at least 30 minutes before
your division. Door entries will be accepted 30 minutes prior to start of our division with a $10 late fee.
We will start each division on time.
Awards include custom crown, monogrammed banner, & medal for queen/knight; medals for runners-up& photogenic.
Each child recieves a participation prize.
Attire is Sunday best for ages 0-9 years. Attire for 10-11 year olds is party attire, tea legth, or semi-formal.
This is a natural beauty pageant. No "big hair", excessive make-up or pageant wear/Glitz will be accepted.
Judges will be made aware of these stipulations.
Age is as of the date of the pageant. You may not move divisions. If a division has more than 20 contestants,
that division will be split into two divisions.
Admission is $3 per person for those 5 years and older and $1 for those under age 5.
Score sheets will be mailed to those who include a self-addressed, stamped envelope and $1 with registration.

Louisiana Tournoi Queens Pageant

Jr. Tournoi Queen 12-13 years old Teen Tournoi Queen 14-16 years old
Louisiana Tournoi Queen 17-23 years old (and not older than 23 years of age on January 1, 2009)
A contestant participating in the La. Tournoi Pageants must be single, must never have
been married, and must never have been pregnant nor have given birth to a child.
You must be of good moral character and have never been convicted of a felony.
You may not hold any other title during your Tournoi reign. Contestants and their legal guardians
will be required to sign a "Queen's Contract" before interviews. Fathers are encourage to attend and also sign contracts.
The competition consists of the following segments:
INTERVIEW at 1:30pm: Interview is worth 60% of score. Registration, orientation, and signing of contracts begin at 1:00pm.
On-stage INTRODUCTION: Introduction is worth 10% of score. It should be no more than 30 seconds
and contain only biographical information (30 second commercial of self).
EVENING GOWN: Modeling, stage projection, and gown are worth 30% of score.
Entry Fees are $60 per contestant and INCLUDES photogenic. All contestants must submit a 5x7 photo (no larger)
to be used for Photogenic and Peoples Choice. Photographs must be submitted with entry form (please write name
on back of photograph). Door entries will be accepted 30 minutes prior to interview with a $10 late fee and 5 copies
of resume.
Awards for the La. Tournoi Queen include use of custom crown, crown box, scepter, train & mantle for the year of your reign.
She will also receive a monogrammed banner, flowers, t-shirt, entry into the 2009LAFF Queen of Queens Pageant,
entry into the 2009Louisiana Cotton Festival Queen's Pageant, and a scholarship upon reign completion (if duties are fulfilled).
The first maid will receive a silver tray and entry into the 2009 Viande Boucanee (Smoked Meat) Festival Queen's pageant.
The second maid will receive a silver tray and entry into the 2009 Boggy Bayou Festival Queen's pageant. The Teen & Junior
Tournoi Queens awards will include use of custom crown and crown box for the year of their reign. They will also recieve a
monogrammed banner, flowers, & t-shirt. Runners-up will receive silver trays. Photogenic and Peoples Choice winners will
receive photo frames.
Attire for interview is interview suit for Teen & Miss divisions. Sunday best is acceptable for Junior division only!
Attire for Evening gown is formal floor length gowns.
