Hello Amy, I have to say I love the New Orlean Nightfall piece too! [and happily so did many of my students!] I'm looking to get my hands on the New Orleans Jazz Styles collection :o)

I hope you get the results you want with your Grade 5 exam - have you heard yet?

I noticed in your post on the 'musical instrument poll' that you'd like to sing like Ella - good choice! I'm a big fan too, grew up listening to Ella, Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Oscar Peterson, Billie Holiday, Cleo Lane... [oh the list is endless :) I could get carried away waffling on about Jazz and Blues].
Do you like Keith Tipett's style of music?

I'll stop before I get carried away, lol.

Hi! I'm doing my grade 5 at the moment, and I love the New Orlean's Nightfall! I'm also doing Rondo and La Tarentelle, not sure if NON is better than La Tarentelle 'though..
