The charcoal stallion knew that the others were right. He still felt the results of the battle with ignorant, young Black Figure. And although the wounds did not greatly effect him, they still could be considered a sign of weakness. His spirits returning, he lifted his tail almost Arabian-like and let a cool breeze tug at his mane.
His ears tipped forward at the mention of a new mare. Mystical Elegance was a good judge of character and he trusted her decision. “Let us meet this new comer.” He said, the familiar, rich tones of his voice soothing.
He nuzzled each mare affectionately, then wandered away to be on his own, but he was still near enough that he could see all that was going on.
