The charcoal stallion is, as always, nearby. He lifts his head as the sweet voice of his Alpha mare drifts to his ears. Below him he can make out the shapes of Mystical Elegance and the new stallion. Rearing half heartedly upon his muscular hind legs, he leaps down the small hill and gallops up to them. The wind sends his mane tumbling rearward. He holds his full, heavy tail like a squire might hold his King’s banner. He moves lightly, with more grace than an equine of his size should have. He leaves no crescent shaped hoof prints in the soft soil as evidence of his passing. He dips his handsome head slightly in respect to the two. “Milord. Milady.” he says, acknowledging them then with his voice as well, which is the dulcet sigh of a cool breeze blowing through the feathery limbs of coniferous trees.
