The charcoal stallion watched her and listened to her words. For a moment he was silent as a response formed within his mind, waiting to be poured forth on his tongue. A cool breeze stirred his mane, whisking it in front of his eyes. He tosses his head lightly, and then speaks. “It would be an honor if you graced these lands with your song and dance, milady. And if it is a cage you run from, you will find no bars here.”
He would not force this mare to stay, but he could offer her a home where she would be safe and her existence appreciated. A cloud strayed across the hoary facade of the moon, momentarily bathing the land in darkness.
(lol Im usually up around 5AM to muck stalls, not much of a night person so I don’t know why I was up at 11 last night)
