A golden disk hung stubbornly in the darkening, magenta sky, obscuring the sliver of silvery moon that had appeared in the heavens. Eyes like pools of molten topaz gaze off into the cloudless sky. The sunset was stunning, a surrealistic spray of prismatic tincture like a psychedelic tie-dye.
A cool breeze stirred through the charcoal stallion’s onyx dreads, sighing through the leafy limbs of nearby deciduous trees.
He stomps a dinner-plate sized hoof, leaving a deep, crescent shaped impression in the soft ground to mark his passing.
He rises upon powerful hindquarters, forelegs playfully tormenting the brilliant expanse above, his body a dark silhouette against the sunset’s phosphorescence.
He returns forcefully to the ground, and lifting his head high upon a muscular, arched neck, he calls to the mares of this realm.
Their Monarch had returned.
(OOC: Just wanted to make sure, Night Time Charade and Sky Bound’s Treasure are the horses who will be away all this week, right? :)
