The charcoal colored stallion grazes nearby. His pricked ears perceive the shattered airwaves resulting from the cry of a troubled mare. He rears slightly and takes off at a gallop in her direction. When his eyes fall upon her he slows to a walk, stopping a comfortable distance from here, showing her that he was not a threat.
“Hello milady, I am Casablanca of the Third Realm. It would be an honor if you would accompany me there. There are still positions available if that is what you seek, but something far more valuable that we have to offer is a safe home where you will be loved and appreciated.” His voice was like a breeze sighing through the feathery limbs of coniferous trees.
