The Keres (singular: Ker) are horrible, black winged, female spirits of death and doom who also act as avenging spirits. They are the daughters of Nyx and Erebus. In the festival of the Anthesteria, the Keres were ritually driven from the house. In later times they were regarded as the vengeful spirits of the dead.




KERES began in April 2005 after it was noticed there was a distinct lack of mythological rpgs around. There is no eventual goal to KERES; each of the five territories wants supremacy, and is willing to go to any means to achieve it, but various mini-plots do come and go. The game is loosely based on Greek mythology, and we have a range of skills, from the beginner to the advanced rpg'er.
