Vida y Muerte

Tapestry of broken shadows trip across the forest floor, honeyed streams of sunlight illuminating the well worn path. Chorus of life ebbs and flows about you, birds sing and off in the distance you hear the unmistakable rumble of equine hooves. Your breathing quickens, your stride lengthens and your whole body strains to peek around the next corner. A golden vista awaits your eager eyes.

Untainted sunlight spills across a lush emerald carpet as the stately timbers give way to a wind caressed plateau. Your eyes widen in wonder as pockets of differing terrain capture your attention. On one side the plateau merges into an aureate mixture of open valleys and glorious mountains. Carefree equine litter the splendid scenery as they go about their trouble free lives. Next you drink in the more somber side of this new world. Shadows creep across the roughened land, sharp contours softened by an ever present fog. Darkened equid haunt the dingy recesses of this terrain, arrogant and cruel they walk as if all the world is theirs.

Alas, the time for idleness soon passes and a decision must be reached. Will you proclaim your lighthearted soul and dance off to join the merry makers in the fields of green? Or will you proudly commit to a life of sin and stalk onward to make your mark within the world of demons and banshee's? Either side will offer much satisfaction.
