One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, one ring to bring them all, and in the darkness, bind them, in the Land of Mordor, where shadows lie�

KoME is before the One Ring was destroyed, when Bilbo Baggins had it in the Shire. The world is at relative peace, though one can feel something is going on. Rumours are that Orcs are more active in the Misty Mountains, Dwarves are on the move, and Elves are leaving Middle Earth. The Shire is in relative peace, except the wild rumours which are spreading about Frodo�s parent�s dying, and Bilbo�s reason s for taking the boy in.

And in the east, the shadow grows.
