Subject: Meet Skittles!

We'd like to introduce our newest family member, Skittles! Skittles is a 6 month old female Pacific Parrotlet. We saw her last weekend at PetCo, & lost our hearts on the spot! We didn't have the money for her at the time, but were misserable without her. So while I was out on a scrapbook tour this past Saturday, Nathan went to see her again. As luck would have it, the employee that he talked to was a bird person as well, & saw how well Skittles reacted to us. They were actually fixing to take her back to the breeder, because she had been there for quite a few months & no one had showed any interest in her. We can't imagine why!! But the employee saw how much Nathan loved her, & offered us a free cage, free bag of food, & knocked 20% off the price of her. And the rest is history!
