I tried to bring him home once but he was so stressed and bit me a bunch of times out of fear that I was not even able to catch him. The person working there at the pet store could not catch him either so I gave up and told him not to bother because it was causing the little guy too much stress. The first time I saw that green cheek at the pet store was about 9 months ago I think, and back then I was afraid to get him because he did not look to good. He had no tail feathers and barely any wing feathers The feathers he did have looked "chopped". But now he looks great. The only problem is that he has been by himself in the pet store too long and has not been socialized all this time. He plays with me through the glass but does not want me to actually hold him. So I decided to wait for a baby who actually wants to be with me. Every Saturday after work I go check on him and play with him through the glass for a little while though. He knows me too. I can tell by his behavior that he recognizes who I am.
Here is a picture of him from a couple weeks ago. When I visit him next Saturday I will take another picture so you can see what he looks like now.
