A friend told me to use a soap powder, make sure the fids cant get to it. supposidly the ants carry it back to thr nest and feed the queen. It then kills her, and with no queen the ants go away. Its worth a try. I use a product for outside the home called AMDRO, it works in 24 hours. Locate the mound and sprinkle this stuff on it.I have elimanated fire ant mounds with this stuff.
