Good for your uncle. Was he tortured??Did the SS pull his finger nails out. Did the SS waterboard him?? I imagine there are a few survivors of Auchwitz, Dachau, and Bergen-Belson that would have loved to have traded places with your uncle. I think there is one reason your uncle survived and that's because when he got captured he was wearing what is commonly refered to as a uniform. Of course your uncle was luckier than the guys at Malmady and they had uniforms, but they weren't tortured just mowed down. I had an uncle too, he drove a tank in Patton's 3rd Army, They made him go into a concentration camp and see what he was fighting for. Compared to some your uncle had it easy.Look I got nothing against your uncle, he put on a uniform and fought, he got captured and by the grace of Almighty GOD he survived--bless him. if it was today and he was captured by Al Quada, he wouldn't be put in a pow camp- He wouldn't be put up against a wall and shot like a soldier---He'd have his throat slit and his nuts cut off and you'd get to see the video on Al Jazira. You never put on a uniform, your opinion don't count, but if your uncle is still alive, bring him here I'd like to hear his ideas of Al Quada and pow camps--and I will treat him with all the honor-courtesy- and respect due to a WWII vet. I hope he's still alive--you I don't give a shit about
