Subject: My youngest son and our vacation....

We went to Myrtle Beach for our vacation. Every morning, my husband and my two younger kids, 10 and 12, went down to the ocean while me and my oldest slept in. One morning, the kids went in the ocean and my husband sat drinking a cup of coffee on the beach. My 12 yr old, came up and sat by his dad, and my husband thought he saw my youngest playing. Three lifeguards ran in to the ocean with their boards, and come up carrying out of the water two boys, a 14 yr old and MY SON!! They werent drowning, but apparently with that hurricane that was off the east coast a few weeks ago, the under current was awful, and they got carried out and couldnt get back in. They never took on water or went under, but were just floating and would have floated out to see if they lifeguards didnt go in and get them! I was so upset....probably a good thing I wasnt down there or I would have went in after him. And my son, argued with the lifeguard saying he could swim in and for her to just swim by him...yeah right. She made him hold the lifeguard board. He came up out of the ocean with a big old cheesy grin on his face. A pretty lifeguard had her arm around him helping him in..lol. I would have freaked if I was down there when it happened.
