Well, first try not to fret about it now, certainly be concerned about your future but cross that bridge when you get there. Otherwise too much energy converts to sTreSs!

I think you've prepared yourself well to handle the children safely. Remind her that the work is no different than what you would do at your own home as well. Re-assure her confidence in her choice to have you care for her child. Try to address her concerns and maybe delve into her psyche a bit to see if there is really something else at the root of her apprehension. (You know new moms and first child yada,yada) Sometimes people manufacture excuses to mask the real reasons (money, etc.).

Focus on being confident as opposed to arrogant or desparate. (words for contrast only) Appearing discouraged or disappointed might lessen her confidence in her choice of continuing with you.

BTW I'd hire you. But the 600-700 mile commute would be tough. ;-)
