Subject: People are so spoiled these days, and nothing's ever enough.

As an example, people complain if their computer is more than two or three years old. The computer that I use is from 1998 and I never complain. Perfectly fine for me. Another thing, people these days think it's some sort of awful tragedy to "only" have 13 TV channels. I grew up with 8 channels, and they didn't all always come in clear either. We didn't get cable until 2001. Sometimes it was 9 or 10 when there was a nice rainstorm. I thought we had it made with a nice 200-mile-range rooftop antenna. And we watched it all on the same TV we use today, one of the early color TV sets with one knob for UHF, one for VHF, and doesn't even have stereo sound. Another thing I saw online when looking up video games is that one of the newer games, Super Mario Bros. 64 I think it waws called, was attacked for not having "good enough" graphics. Actually, from what I saw, the graphics are jaw-dropping enough to induce drooling. I'm used to the graphics of the Atari and NES. Also, kids complain that they "only" get three months off school to goof off. For one thing, that's not true, they get Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter vacations, PLUS they get weekends off, and don't even have to go to school 8 hours a day. I only get five days a year where I can kick back and not do as much, they are New Year's, Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Especially the last two. I get nights "off" too I guess but that's only because I have super severe insomnia that I want to put an end to.
