My son did not want to admit it fully to me when I pressed him to confess.

He said, "we 'almost' had sex".

"How does that work?", I asked.

"I 'ono".

"I want to know, because if we have an immaculate conception here we have to tell EVERYBODY! Or this could turn into a very lucrative business! Please do tell how this works." ;-)

I only recently overheard some conversations which made me investigate. Then I 'cornered' my boy and made him 'fess up. I don't know why 'her' dad did not contact me. My son 'broke up' with 'momma' but has been keeping quiet, she has been in contact with him 'though.

I don't know what he was thinking trying to keep it from us. Anyway, I made my son step-up to do the right thing and acknowledge his baby. The State now wants to establish Paternity. (So I would have found out by receiving the 'Papers' to be Guardian Ad Litem.)

It's been amicable so far and I hope to keep it that way.

Moral of the story is ...
Even if your kids seem trustworthy, they're NOT.

B-)
