If I still lived in the Champaign area, I would probably be over every week to watch the progress in person. So, with the high cost of gasoline, I can sit at my console and get a few glimpses now and then without a 3 hour drive. The University Baptist Church and, later, the Baptist Student Foundation have already made historic impacts at the campus of the U of I and at churches where alumni of this ministry have gone on to serve as church participants and church leaders. I will be actively watching and supporting this building on a legacy that is currently underway. Our prayers are being offered regularly for church and house leaders, for construction crews and for donors who have responded and also for others who will be responding in months to come.
