 |Welcome| Misty Moments Zoo was once a thriving wildlife conservation zoo. Sadly, funds ran out and the zoo was closed and abandoned. The residents of the nearby towns decided to use the empty zoo as a place to dump their unwanted dogs. Slowly the population of the wild dogs grew, and territories were created, based on the existing exhibits. Dogs battle for the alphaship of the exhibits as each season passes, miracles happen, emotions are torn, and legends are born. Life has always been and will always be just another challenge.  Olympic Awards ~ Session 1 Olympic Awards... A place for RPGs and studios to try compete for the gold. A gloomy tune has fallen over the wizarding community. Every person sporting a helpless look, replacing the fool-hardy denial they had but a year ago. In short, their whole world has fallen to He-who-must-not-be-named, just as it had roughly twenty years ago. There is one place however, one haven, if you please. Hogwarts. Safe...until everything that supports the school, friendship, trust, falls out. An Invasion. And now everyone is equally vulnerable to you-know-who now. Like puppets on strings.

The Black Coast community has died down and everyone has settled in thought the city is still gaining many families by the day. Many ranches have started to take place but the main ranch that strikes and interest in many is Black Coast Ranch. Black Coast Ranch is a unique organization that rescues abused and neglected horses and pairs them up with the children that come to live here who have also been abused whether it was mental, physically, or sexually. The town is large and the possibilities are endless! ;the wild; No roundups have taken place yet seeing as many people are just really waiting for the mares to give birth to young and mostly defenseless foals. One thing is for certain though, and that is the fact that a pack of wolves has started to move into the area and have made their own living very close to all three wild herds. For the first time during an Interval, Thread fell. No one was sure if what they saw was true or not, so many didn't run for cover. But for many, long hours, Thread fell upon all of Pern. First it destroyed the North, and then the South. Was it another type of Red Star? Or did the Red Star not follow its old orbit because of that meteor? No one knew the answers, but there wasn't any time to do so. In the rush to save the Hold people, every single dragonrider, even weyrlings, were ordered to each of the Holds. Boton, Weyrwoman of Fort, was only one of the large losses. It was disasterous, and the Hold people were left with nothing for food. The population had dropped by more than three quarters. Benden Weyr and High Reaches Weyr were the only Weyrs left that were able to support themselves. All the Hold people fit easily into the Weyrs, showing how many losses on each side. The Hold people immediately set out to rebuild the two Holds, as others worked on the Halls. Until then, everyone was split between the two Weyrs. Fort and Ista riders as well. Five golds were left to carry out the mission of bringing Galliv back together. Everyone forgot about the Clan and the Darq Weyr. Had they survived? But only a small amount of riders believed that they still were out there. If only there were more dragonriders, but everyone was needed. So the search was delayed and the group quieted down. Another Beginning Now after a second disaster, Galliv is struggling to its feet again. With everyone in only two Weyrs while the Holds and Halls are rebuilding, people fear Thread will fall again at any given time and without warning. Contant Watch Dragons are sent out to where each Hold and Hall is being built to alarm the wings if they are needed. What will become of Galliv? And are the Darq Riders still alive? What about the Clan and the forgotten Hold? Had the Darq Weyr planned this somehow? The Weyrs were beginning to break up into rumors, separating everyone into groups. As the Weyrleaders struggled to keep everything together, all anyone could wonder was: How would they survive? //memo Snow Memories Park was once the greatest park in Alaska. People would come everyday. After 10 years, the park was worn out and people didn't have the money to fix it. Sadly, on June 29, of 2004 they closed it down. Everyone was upset, but finally they knew it was for the best. New people started to move in. And dogs got pushed out. The kennels couldn't take in any more dogs and to many where being put down. So people started to dump their dogs in the park. Will you be one of them? If so, will you survive? -- //plot Chako was really getting bored with everything. There was no place that fit his need as an alpha, and no canine worth his time. He decided to leave the only part of the park where dogs lived. He didn't travel far before he found two new territories. One was a soccer field, and the other was a public pool. He claimed for himself the public pool, and the next canine to venture afar would get the soccer field. Long ago, an island surfaced the Pacific Ocean, undetected by even the most advanced of sciences. A strange magnetically charged field surrounds island, as well as the many miles in its circumference. It serves to scramble any and all types of communication and/or navigation, therefore being the downfall of many planes and boats. The unknown explanation of a couple flights that never arrived, and near the same amount of nautical expeditions that simply, vanished.
Dense forestry, lush and thriving cover most of the island, though the brush thins and births grassy plains, or other groves and thickets. A volcano is the center, though its sides are covered in the same dense greenery that covers the entire island, though it browns near the vent. It has been a long time since the last eruption, but earthquakes are fairly frequent, noting that the volcanoes dormancy has not yet come. Much of the island is yet to be discovered, and mystery is in every shadow, discovery in every step...
Jagged coral reefs stretch for a couple miles out from the island, the ocean's depth ranging from 5 to 20 ft at high tide. The coral fades into shoals that block most entrances. The sandy crests continue the boundary for a few miles out, some breaking the surface. These obstacles are cut short by a sudden, jagged drop-off. Here is where the danger mounts as rip-tides, under currents, powerful ocean surges and dangerous surf will drown out the weak from the strong.
The strong, whom have survived, are the beginnings of the people. On barges to and from mainlands, horses and dogs survived the plight as well, adding to the beings who populate the isle. But still flights are lost and nautical expeditions gone amiss. Still, the ocean in its magnificent blue splendor separates the living from the dead. Still, the island is shrouded in its field of undetection, and still survival continues in a circle that never ends.
You've survived the relentless sea, and suffered the loss you only think happens in movies. The isle is only a distance away and the shade beckons you with a cool hand. The reef fades into a trail of white sand that continues to the shore, a current carrying arms that don't tread water, and legs that don't kick. The grainy kiss of sand is wondrous as the full force of the situation hits you. You've made it, but to where? and so far, you're alone. The decisions are yours to make. choose.

 Information Isle of Revenge...love, hate, life, survival, and nothing but a island. This place was left years ago, and you, yes you, may think it's nothing anymore. No, my friend, I will tell you a secret. IOR is not just a deserted island, yes, none owns or inhabits it...but what happens when it's like that? Doesn't the wildlife get it? If you said yes, you are correct. The horses of IOR have claimed the place, bringing the island to a stop...for civilization. Now things have changed. Horses have grown greedy, taking more territories and fighting for them, madness is uncontolable. The big question is...will this stop? No, these wild spirits will not die. In this, they are forced to survive. You wonder, how, how did these beasts get here? Cowboys used to inhabit this island many years ago. Although, they have left...for good, leaving the horses to get along with each other...will they? Will you join them? Can you survive? If so, prove it. the otherside... Well, since December of 2001 this game has been created. It soon shut down due to inactivity, it was reopened and shut down for a long time and reopened again. Finally, Isle Of Revenge [IOR] got back on it's feet. Staying alive for eight months straight, I [scar], the owner of the game, got inactive. I came back to find IOR a inactive mess. It was put on hiatus until I finally got the time to go back working on it. All the members except for Senorita and I have quit, but we hope to regain IOR once again, are you with me?  It is the Third Age, commonly referred to as ACE or After Common Era. The peak of humanity was reached at the end of the Second Age, commonly referred to as CE or Common Era, and humans are not the only intelligent beings to be known on Earth any longer. Faerie has always been a common myth on Earth, as 'fairy tales' and stories to tell to children before they go to be, but what would humans do if the faerie were real and were not like what stories made them out to be? Faerie are very real and they're here. Humans and faerie have yet learned to coexist peacefully. Humans treat faerie like they have treated anything else that is different: inferior. But the faerie are not to be toyed with. As wonderful and sexy as the faerie may seem, they're the most deadliest warriors that can easily undermine an entire covert operation. For neither sale or trade, the faerie listen to their Queen and their Queen only. To listen to another is considered treason, and their Queen doesn't take kindly to such things. So what, and who, are you, in this tale of humanity and faerie? Are you a human, so eager to please the faerie in order to have your slice of heaven and so eager to sell out of the mystical ones? Or are you a faerie, be it brownie, pixie, faerie or even a mix breed? Time will tell how your life will play in the Third Age, the Time of Humans and Faerie. a different kind of faerie |
