There are no threats of violence toward school board members, otherwise charges would be filed by LOCAL POLICE. No one gets away with a credible threat of violence in a public forum. This is all about weaponizing the DOJ and forming a national police force (why they’re defunding local police,) because a national police force is a hallmark of socialist governments, because they rely on coercion rather than persuasion. There is no consent of the governed; they are ruled over. Supporters of the left need to understand that they will be forfeiting their individual rights and will be at the mercy of the government.

Even Turdley acknowledged that there are federal issues involved if threats are transmitted by phone, mail, or internet.

And wow but you went seriously off the deep end with the whole defund to create a national police force thing. I take it you aren't from around here and don't know how police are...See more

Thanks to fgts and black people, there were enough votes to allow DOminion to skew the election results and illegally award Xo Xiden with this illegitimate presidency.

Garland, by refusing to answer critical questions on the "chilling effect" of the DOJ getting involved in local school board issues, shows his over reach in issuing the memorandum was intentional and is not about to reverse it. He needs to be removed from office immediately by whatever legal means is necessary before he does further damage to the First Amendment rights of all Americans. Incredible!

When asked for specifics about violence/threats against school board by Congress, Garland had nothing; deflecting to the NSBA letter assuming that THEY had some examples. Nope. Zero justification for his nonsense memo.
NSBA has apologized for the letter, but have you seen Garland's memo retracted ...See more

The NSBA apologized to their members for sending the letter, not to the DOJ or the American people.

All it would take is a single 50cal long-distance projectile to stop this madman from destroying our country any farther. Needing one true Patriot to step forward...

Security at School Board meetings is not the responsibility of the Federal Government. It falls to local and state police. Another over reach by the Federal Government.

Garland is untouchable until Americans regain control of the House of Representatives. Meanwhile, there is good news. As we know, Terry McAuliffe handed Glenn Youngkin a campaign ad on a silver platter during a debate by stating that he would not allow parents to tell schools what to teach their children. McAuliffe proudly acknowledged that he vetoed legislation that would have alerted parents when there was explicit content in instructional materials. “I’m not going to let parents come into schools and actually take books out and make their own decision,” McAuliffe said. “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”

Humans cannot change their gender. Science backs this up yet the radical left completely ignores reality on the issue. Instead of pandering to people with mental health problems, how about treating them like we used to do?

And then Biden came along and further gave Youngkin an advantage.

Garland is gutless and partisan. As the top LEO of our country he should focus on defending and protecting the rights of US citizens.

Watching this an on TV leaves me with a sadness. He is a meek individual who couldn’t scare a flea. He is another individual who is merely a cover for someone else, performing a job,who probably would not have passed the vetting process. The question is, who? George Soros? Eric Holder perhaps? Our Country is facing its darkest times, that is for certain. We have no “official” elected President. People who were never elected are calling the shots. It appears the Trojan Horse has been here for years. They were being implanted in our Government. Our Country has been changed through indoctrination of our youth while e were asleep at the wheel. I fear there may be no saving us. Sad.

I think he is more scared of the people pulling the strings if he doesn't give the right answers.

But for the efforts of Mitch McConnell at the end of President Obama’s Presidency, Merrick Garland would be on the U.S. Supreme Court now — and for the next 20 years. He was then advertised by President Obama as a brilliant legal scholar with no political views or prejudices. It turns out he has no appreciable legal skills and he’s a radical Progressive. A good thing to remember next time we have a Supreme Court vacancy.
