I taught public school high school math 32 years. If the kids asked who I voted for , I often told them. And it stopped there. No discussion. Should I have been fired??

He didn't know what to say. He couldn't brag on the former governor's record because it was at best, weak. He couldn't champion his planned policies because they are not popular. Maybe he should have just stayed home and not used his efforts to campaign for a guy that is about to lose.

What blows me away is how anybody would vote for a person who tells you that you have no business in your child's education. You are to give your child over to the state. Seriously, people trust a complete stranger, much less the STATE, to educate and raise their children? You believe they care more about your child than you do? Do they?
