Subject: Stay Away From Pageant and Prom Expo

This post is a summation of the business of Wallis Amanda Mills, an ever-changing name, as researched on the Internet and with the help of several emails from people she has taken money from and/or worked with in the many cities she has jumped around in for the past few years. As she is entirely aware of her own past, this response is simply a warning to anyone planning to do future business with her.
Please direct all future complaints and reports about her here: http://www.stopfraud.gov/report.html

-False online advertisement and false promises of talent management; false promises of scholarships/pageants/proms/expos/events. Events that never materialized after girls had entered and already paid.

-Running several businesses and events under different names with a lack of sufficient funds to pay monies owed. Comparing those business to existing businesses that they were nothing like. Naming those businesses after other businesses with the same name.

-Avoidance of those who attempted to contact her to receive due monies, constantly changing 800 numbers associated with the businesses (moving to other cities where she can’t be found and shutting down previously existing pageant websites.) Then replying to a dead thread several years later, after the storm has passed, to protect her online reputation as she continues to name new events and companies that will fly under the radar (acting like she has always made herself available after years of hiding out and using an email she probably wrote herself as though it is proof of anything substantial of her character.)

-Upon calling both the Miss Universe Organization and the local chapter of Miss California USA, they have no record of this person’s employment. They did, however, say that directors can self-appoint themselves as contractors. Contestants are then assigned to them.***

-Upon finding out she was in fact a self-appointed contractor for less than one year as a San Francisco director, it was also noted that she collected $1000s of dollars in gifts/prize/services from businesses under the guise of being from The Miss Universe Organization, failing to mention that she was actually working at the preliminary city level, which is several rungs both below Miss Universe and Miss USA. These businesses report her using vague language to lead them to believe that "Miss Universe" would be appearing at their functions when in fact it was "Miss San Francisco." The taxes on these items are also in question.

-***Grossly over-exaggerating the impact of her training. Piggybacking off the titles and awards of deserving girls who have been winning pageants for years and previously trained by others for years (the internet shows these girls had won several titles before being assigned to her, including interview awards).

-Using her short-term experience with MUO to deceive countless young women to enter go-nowhere events and pageants created by Mills herself, who then pulled the plug on these pageants (possibly without the intention of ever going through with them) and never returning contestants’ money.

-Blatant dishonesty concerning her legitimacy, her own career and her own placement at the Miss Massachusetts USA pageant.

-Extremely retouched photos of herself that at first glance appear to back up her “former model” claims. In person she looks nothing like the pictures advertised on her website, nor is she qualified to give beauty or wardrobe guidance.

-Changing her name countless times to alter search engine results. (“Wallis Amanda Mills”)

Using the Miss Universe/USA pageant to scam others? This should have been in the media for trying to use these big pageant names.

That's why you call Miss Universe BEFORE sending money!
