It's another cattle call rip off. How many people in movies, tv and modeling ever mention MAAI or IMTA????

Big waste of time! There can be as many as over 1000 contestants through the entire convention all given false hope of getting discovered after forking out min payment of $2000 or more! Save your money and time and look for local agencies through the phonebook or online!

SCAM!!!!! They charge monthly fees! First the crooks entice you with a so called audition and when calling back, you're told about paying monthly fees! Real agencies NEVER charge fees!

Explore Talent is a SCAM!
They STEAL castings from FREE sites like Craigslist and charge you A LOT of money!
NO legit casting directors post castings on Explore Talent!
Agents DON'T make their actors join Explore Talent!

The ONLY legit sites are:
LA:
ActorsAccess.com
Lacasting.com
Thepeoplenetwork.com
CastingFrontier.com
Nowcasting.com
Backstage.com

NY:
Actorsaccess.com
Castingnetworks.com
NYCastings.com
Backstage.com

Other markets:
Actorsaccess.com

Free but PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
Craigslist.org
Mandy.com
Modelmayhem.com

Always go directly to the website of the network or movie productions that is holding the audition. Never pay to receive audition information.

Any fool giving money to these rip off artists deserves to get scammed! No actor in Hollywood or model ever mentioned being discovered through Explore Talent or a modeling convention! Maybe it happens once every other blue moon (possibly how they keep the scam going) but 99.9 % of the time NOBODY gets discovered through them! NOBODY!

The only reason these conventions get a cattle call of contestants is because there is a huge discount for modeling school students. Or the price is included in the modeling course price.

Why would agents look on Explore Talent website for models or actors when they deal with tons of them day after day? This would be like a record label rep looking online for tons of singers when they deal with tons of them in person. Big waste!
