There is still time to enter the pageant! Deadline is April 10 - Please contact the Executive Director at mwvot@mwvot.org

Miss West Virginia�s Outstanding Teen is accepting at large contestants for the state pageant in June, 2009Thank you for your interest!! The entry fee is $375 and includes a local crown. We would provide the teen with a title � We would help find a mentor in your area to work with the contestant if possible. If not, then we as a state organization would help you every step of the way. The at large contestant will be treated just the same as a contestant who won her title at a local pageant. The judges will not be informed of who is an at large contestant and who is a preliminary pageant titleholder.
You must be a WV resident for at least 6 months and be between the ages of 13 and 17 and not a Senior in high school right now.

The areas of competition are the following
Private Interview
Evening Gown/On Stage Question
Scholastic Achievement
Lifestyle and Fitness
Talent � if you can recite a poem � with feeling and expression or act out a dramatic monologue from a play � YOU HAVE A TALENT! You do not have to be able to sing or dance or play an instrument. There are many different kinds of talent!!!! Even a karate demonstration is considered a talent!!!

We would LOVE to have you become a part of the Miss West Virginia's Outstanding Teen Organization family. Our leadership team and Board of Directors are all committed to mentoring teen girls and we learn a lot from them in the process. The board of directors is willing to help you every step of the way to navigate the unfamiliar waters of becoming a state teen contestant. We look forward to hearing from you and hope that you definitely decide to be a part of the 2009 state pageant.
